FAIRFIELD, CALIF. — Jelly Belly Candy Co. has a way for the Force to be with retailers.

For the debut of the major motion picture “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” on Dec. 18, the candy maker next month plans to release two new products for its Star Wars Collection of gifts: the 8.5-oz. “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” 20 Flavors Gift Box and the 6.5-oz. “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” Galaxy Mix Peg Bag.

Jelly Belly said the packages feature the series’ new, menacing character, Kylo Ren. With artwork including Kylo Ren’s signature mask and light saber, fans of the Star Wars franchise will immediately recognize him on these packages of Jelly Belly jelly beans, according to the company.

The Gift Box has 20 flavors, including 12 sparkling jelly beans for a “galaxy” look. Ten boxes ship per case.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy Mix features sparkling versions of Berry Blue, Blueberry, Cream Soda, Very Cherry, Grape Soda and Wild Blackberry flavors. It’s available in the new 6.5-oz. peg bag, shipping 12 bags per case.

Jelly Belly added that it expects to roll out more “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” products soon.
