A 12-year pharmacy industry veteran, Najomo explained that she decided to open a digitally focused pharmacy after feeling bad about watching sick patients, mothers with crying babies or patients on crutches waiting at the Rx counter to drop off or pick up prescriptions.

She wanted to provide seamless process in which doctors could send prescriptions to pharmacies and patients could pick up their medications at the most convenient time and place.

“I want to eliminate the drop-off and pickup line because there is no reason for patients to stand in that line anymore in this digital age,” noted Najomo, who is CEO of Westlake Health Mart.

Najomo also is the founder of Westlake Health & Beauty Products LLC and in her career served as pharmacist-in-charge at JPS Health Network, contract manager at Maxor National Pharmacy Services, a pharmacy manager at Walmart and a pharmacist at Walgreens. She received her pharmacy degree from Texas Tech School of Pharmacy and later earned an MBA from Johns Hopkins University.

Other services offered by Westlake Health Mart include prescription refills and transfers, medication adherence and monitoring, 90-day prescriptions, medication therapy management (MTM), medication consultations and immunizations.
