CHICAGO — Rite Aid Corp. plans to deploy health kiosks that will allow customers to measure and track their weight, body mass index, pulse and blood pressure.

Under an agreement with Chicago-based higi, Rite Aid is expected to install 4,100 higi Stations in its stores by early next year, with the rollout starting in the second quarter of this year.

The kiosks provide users with the “higi Score,” a proprietary measurement encapsulating vital health statistics, lifestyle and social relationships that’s designed to give people one number to “quantify their life” and show how the choices they make impact their health.

Users also will be able to store the data in an online higi account for reference and progress comparison as well as access the higi mobile app and website for wellness-related content and activity tracking tools.
