ARLINGTON, Va. — While visiting her home district on Thursday, January 27, U.S. Rep. Cathy McMorris Rodgers (R, Wash.) toured a Walmart Supercenter in Spokane, Wash., where she saw firsthand the crucial role pharmacies continue to play in meeting her constituents’ health and wellness needs.

The pharmacy team described pharmacies’ successes on behalf of the American people throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, including helping to ensure that the communities they serve maintain ready access to critical healthcare services — such as routine vaccinations and point-of-care testing.

They also discussed ways in which lawmakers can work to ensure Americans continue to benefit from services at the pharmacies they know and trust during public health emergencies and with day-to-day needs.
