Billy Chow

SEATTLE — Bartell Drugs has promoted Billy Chow to vice president of pharmacy. Over the last four months, Chow has filled the role on an interim ­basis.

“Billy has been an essential part of the leadership team. His knowledge of Bartell Drugs pharmacy operations as well as his dedication to patient care made him a natural choice for this position,” said senior vice president of operations Adam Wampler.

Chow’s passion for supporting health and wellness is well known. When Bartells in 2016 launched initiatives for patients who cannot read the print on their prescription drug labels, he said, “It’s extremely important that patients know and understand the instructions for their ­medications.”

Chow completed his pharmacy studies at the University of British Columbia. In a 24-year career in pharmacy and retail, he has been with Bartell Drugs for the past seven. Since October 2011, he has held a number of positions at the Washington state chain in both pharmacy operations and store operations.
