WASHINGTON – Consumer Healthcare Products Association (CHPA) president and CEO, Scott Melville, on Friday released the below statement following congressional passage of a short-term spending package to fund the Federal Government through Dec. 16. Included in this Continuing Resolution is legislation to reauthorize the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s (FDA) user fee programs for prescription drugs, generic drugs, biosimilars, and medical devices over the next five years.
