ARLINGTON, Va. — The HDA Research Foundation announced Michael Conley, vice president and head, trade operations and analytics, Novartis Pharmaceuticals Corp., as chairman of its board of directors. Craig Cowman, executive vice president, global sourcing, Cardinal Health, is vice chairman.
Conley, formerly the vice chairman for the foundation, assumes the role from Charles (Chip) Phillips, vice president, senior commercial advisor, Teva Pharmaceuticals (formerly with Anda Inc.), who will serve as a director. Steve Giuli, vice president, government affairs and trade relations, Apotex, also was elected to the board.
“I want to welcome Mike, Craig, Chip and Steve into their new positions,” said Perry Fri, executive vice president and COO, HDA Research Foundation. “I look forward to working closely with them and the entire board of directors as the Foundation studies current supply chain priorities and pursues new partnerships in the higher education space.”
