KITCHENER, Ontario — John Szustaczek has been promoted to vice president of sales and marketing, Diva International Inc., maker of The DivaCup.
Diva said Monday that Szustaczek has played an integral role in the growth of the menstrual care product company since joining it in 2012 as director of sales and marketing.
“John has been an invaluable member of the Diva family and key part of our success,” stated Carinne Chambers, co-founder and vice president at Diva International. “His experience, wisdom and business strategies have helped our company grow exponentially and achieve unprecedented success. We have no doubt John will continue to be an asset as he guides our team in his new role.”
Founded in 2002 by mother-daughter team Francine and Carinne Chambers, Diva launched The DivaCup menstrual cup and DivaWash plant-based cleanser in 2003. Diva said that it has since become one of the fastest-growing consumer packaged goods companies in North America, outpacing the feminine hygiene category in sales growth and profits.
“I’m very excited to take on this new role,” Szustaczek commented. “I’m proud to continue leading a team of outstanding individuals who have contributed to Diva’s growth, and I am confident that we will continue to pioneer advancements and innovations in the categories of women’s health.”
Diva added that over the past few months, it has hired additional staff in the departments of consumer support, accounting, marketing and sales.
