NACDS said Thursday that Kelly anchors the second-ranking program in cable news by viewership, “The Kelly File,” which focuses on late-breaking stories, investigative reports and newsmaker interviews and capitalizes on her skills as a former litigator. Previously, Kelly anchored her own two-hour solo program, “America Live,” and before that, she co-anchored “America’s Newsroom.”

During the 2012 and 2014 political seasons, Kelly served as co-anchor of Fox News Channel’s “America’s Election HQ.” And among her accolades, in 2014 she was listed as one of Time magazine’s 100 most influential people in the world.

“Not afraid to ask the tough questions, Megyn Kelly has spent her television career breaking news, cutting through the news clutter and delivering in-depth investigative reporting that resonates with millions of viewers nationwide,” NACDS Foundation president Kathleen Jaeger said in a statement. “From her coverage of national and political news to her interviews with newsmakers and national leaders, we look forward to hearing more about how those experiences have shaped her coverage of the news.

The 17th annual NACDS Foundation Dinner will be held on Dec. 3 in New York City. The event and contributions from the foundation’s benefactors help support evidence-based research that advances patient care, pharmacy education, student scholarships, and charitable organizations that improve patient outcomes.
