FORT WORTH, Texas – Galderma Laboratories L.P. has launched two additions to its Benzac Acne Solutions product line — Benzac Skin Refining Mask and Benzac Acne Eliminating Cleanser.

“The addition of Benzac Skin Refining Mask and Benzac Acne Eliminating Cleanser allows teens to customize a highly effective skin care regimen that quickly clears up mild-to-moderate acne and helps keep it from coming back,” says board-certified dermatologist and Galderma spokesperson Dr. Dendy Engelman. “Unlike some acne treatments that can be harsh on the teenager’s skin, Benzac’s salicylic acid products don’t cause harsh irritation and dryness and leave skin smooth and luminous.”

Benzac Skin Refining Mask gently exfoliates and purifies the skin with active ingredient salicylic acid. Natural East Indian sandalwood and French clay help remove excess oil and  reduce swelling and redness from acne breakouts. Benzac Acne Eliminating Cleanser gently removes excess oil, and penetrates pores to eliminate most acne blemishes and to help prevent new pimples from forming. The gel formula cleanser contains 2.6% benzoyl peroxide, a clinically proven acne-fighting ingredient that kills the bacteria that lead to breakouts and helps prevent pimples from coming back. For normal to oily skin, Benzac Acne Eliminating Cleanser can be used as an alternative to Benzac Skin Balancing Foaming Cleanser. It is not recommended for people with sensitive skin or sensitivity to benzoyl peroxide.
