BOCA RATON, Fla. — Boca Health Remedies Inc. has secured distribution in more than 160 Walgreens stores in the Northeast — including Maine, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Massachusetts (concentrated in Boston) — for its first product, GermWarrior.

The Boca Raton, Fla.-based company said Thursday that GermWarrior is a homeopathic nasal inhaler offering a way to fight germs on the go. Its proprietary blend of essential oils wards off airborne germs and helps boost immune defenses through a convenient inhalation delivery system.

Each package of GermWarrior contains 40 applications and retails for $6.99.

The addition of GermWarrior into Walgreens’ inventory reflects moves by many large retailers to build out homeopathic product sets and provide customers with a larger variety of all-natural health options, according to Boca Health Remedies.

With the early success of GermWarrior, the company said it has started production and development for future products using the healing and antiviral properties of essential oils in combination with its tested inhalation delivery method.

"Having a nationally recognized retailer such as Walgreens embrace GermWarrior has strengthened our brand position and reinforced our belief that there is a demand for such a product in this space," stated Boca Health Remedies chief executive officer Brett Jaffy. "We look forward to reaching a new audience in the Northeast and providing a unique alternative to existing germ-fighting products on the market."
