NEW YORK —  On Tuesday, March 7, 2023, at The Plaza in New York City, the Girls Inc. New York Celebration Luncheon will present the prestigious Corporate Vision Award to Walgreens for its leadership in creating healthy communities for girls. The event also recognizes three outstanding women of achievement who are icons in their respective fields, serving as rolemodels for girls and young women everywhere.

“Role models are a powerful force in helping girls and young women envision endless possibilities for their future,” said Stephanie J. Hull, Ph.D., President and CEO of Girls Inc. “Our 2023 New York Luncheon honorees have paved the way for a new generation of leaders and innovators. We are proud to thank Patricia Field, H.E.R., Hoda Kotb, and Walgreens for their own leadership, and to recognize their shared commitment to inspiring strong, smart, and bold girls everywhere to take

the lead.”

 Honorees include:

Patricia Field – Costume Designer, Entrepreneur & Stylist

Emmy and Academy award-winning fashion visionary Patricia Field is an iconic costume designer, receiving numerous accolades for her work in television series such as Sex in the City and the film The Devil Wears Prada—arguably two of the most fashionable works in cinematic history. She’s was also the costume consultant for the Netflix series, Emily in Paris. Patricia remains a mentor to aspiring talent in the New York City art community, expressing authenticity through her craft and showing girls everywhere the power of being their authentic selves.

An admired and respected musician at only 25-years-old, H.E.R. also added acting to her resume when she starred as Belle in ABC’s “Beauty and the Beast Live” in December 2022. A change agent, H.E.R. leverages her platform to advocate for women and marginalized groups, representing to all girls the power of being bold in your convictions and the importance of advocating for your community.
