Henkel donates to NBC Today Show drive

STAMFORD, Conn. — Consumer products maker Henkel got into the holiday spirit this season with its participation in the 24th Annual NBC Today Show Toy Drive event.

Henkel North AmericaThis year, Henkel said it donated more than $1 million in laundry and beauty care products to a variety of charities across the United States, as chosen by the Today Show. Henkel took part in the program for the sixth consecutive year, and its cumulative donation tops $3 million in products.

“Once again this year, we are pleased to donate everyday laundry and beauty care essentials to help ease some of the daily financial pressures the holidays impose on families in need,” commented Ed Vlacich, region head of Henkel beauty care. “We’re hopeful that these donations of household essentials will make life a little easier while helping people look and feel their best, this season and beyond.”

In addition, Henkel provided some extra holiday cheer by including 5,000 Snuggle bears to the products it donated to the NBC Today Show Toy Drive.

Henkel markets a wide range of consumer and industrial brands in North America, including Dial soap; Persil, Purex and All laundry detergents; Snuggle fabric softeners; Schwarzkopf hair care; Right Guard antiperspirants; göt2b hair styling products; and Loctite adhesives.
