PORT WASHINGTON, N.Y. — KISS Products Inc plans to hold in-store nail demonstrations at 1,000 Walmart and CVS/pharmacy stores, respectively, to promote its new KISS Salon Acrylic French Nails.

KISS Salon Acrylic French NailsKISS said Friday that in partnership with Shopper Events, it will apply 50,000 KISS Salon Acrylic French Nails to consumers at the Walmart stores nationwide on April 11. And during the month of May, CosPro Agency, representing KISS Products, will apply 30,000 KISS Salon Acrylic French Nails to consumers at the CVS stores nationwide.

Along with the in-store demonstrations, a “Snap & Post” sweepstakes will be digitally promoted, offering consumers the chance to show off their new KISS Salon Acrylic French nails on social media platforms. Consumers will be asked to snap their Salon Acrylic French manicure photo and post it, tagging @KISSProducts with #BetterThanSalon, during the in-store demos for a chance to win a $100 store gift card. There will be 100 winners per chain.

KISS noted that new French nail kit provides an acrylic French manicure that looks better than the salon version. The company said its sales are up 28.5% year over year in the French nail segment, attesting to the product’s early success.

“One of our main goals this year is getting KISS nails on as many women as possible,” stated Carrie Connell, marketing director at KISS. “We know there is a stigmatism associated with wearing artificial nails. That being said, we also know that once a woman tries our products, she is amazed at how easy they are to apply, how great they look and how long they last. This is crucial in growing the KISS consumer base.”
