Mars unveils exclusive entertainment events

HACKETTSTOWN, N.J. — Mars Inc. is making packs of M&M’S Caramel all-access passes for various entertainment events this summer.

Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Julia Michaels will kick off the exclusive events by performing an M&M’S Spotlight concert at the Southside Music Hall in Dallas on July 25. Fans can stay tuned to M&M’S social channels for details on how to attend the free concert, score a rare opportunity to meet the artist and nab VIP tickets — all by simply bringing along any size pack of M&M’S Caramel.

The experiences will continue throughout the summer, with chances to interact one-on-one with MLB and NASCAR stars. Updates will be on M&M’S Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages.

Throughout the series, a hidden camera captures an improv actor posing as an M&M’S representative, intercepting real shoppers in an effort to keep the popular flavor variety on shelves. This comedic campaign conveys the simple message that people enjoy M&M’S Caramel, so if one hasn’t tried them yet (or even if one has), he or she should go out and get them. The campaign is also supported by a 10-week mobile tour, as well as print and digital.

M&M’S Caramel chocolate candies feature a smooth caramel center covered in M&M’S milk chocolate and coated in a colorful candy shell. Chocolate and caramel fans alike can find M&M’S Caramel  at retailers nationwide in sharing size (2.83 oz.), sharing size stand up pouch (9.6 oz.) and singles (1.41 oz.).
