MMR honors ‘People Who Made a Difference’

NEW YORK — Chain Drug Review’s sister publication, Mass Market Retailers held a reception in New York City recently to honor the executives chosen as the publication’s “People Who Made a Difference” in 2022.

Brian Nightengale of Amerisource Bergen, Michael Wysong of Care Pharmacies and Steve Anderson of NACDS.

Receiving awards were: Scott Crawford, chief merchandising officer at Fresh Direct; Heather Hughes, group vice president of beauty, personal care, seasonal at Walgreens; and Vinima Shekhar, vice president of wellness merchandising at Walmart U.S. Karen Staniforth, chief pharmacy officer at Rite Aid, accepted an award on behalf of Derrick Shaffer, the company’s category director for health. Kroger Health president Colleen Lindholz accepted an award on behalf of Bill Shinton, who is vice president of health and wellness at Kroger Health. Profiles of the 2022 “People Who Made a Difference” honorees were published in the November 14 issue of MMR.
