NACDS to air webinar series for Total Store Expo

ARLINGTON, Va. – Next month, the National Association of Chain Drug Stores plans to air a series of webinars to help retailers and suppliers prepare for this summer’s 2015 NACDS Total Store Expo.

NACDS said Tuesday that the educational webinars, which the association developed, will help attendees plan and navigate their trade show experience in such areas as logistics, technology, appointment planning, Meet the Market strategies and  engaging with the media.

The webinars are free for all retailers and suppliers registered for the Total Store Expo, which runs Aug. 22 to 25 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver. After each webinar, videos of the discussions will be available online for viewing on the NACDS-TV channel.

“Preparation is truly the key to a successful experience at the NACDS Total Store Expo, both for retailers and suppliers,” NACDS president and chief executive officer Steve Anderson said in a statement.  “Innovative resources like the upcoming webinar series are designed to provide attendees effective and efficient preparation strategies ahead of time to help maximize business opportunities and the overall experience at the trade show.”

Webinars being held include the following: “Show Logistics – From Set Up to Tear Down” on July 8, “Meet the Market – Suppliers” on July 15, “Meet the Market – Retailers” on July 23 and “Retailer Preview – Everything for Pre-Show Planning” on July 30.

In addition, a previously held webinar — “Exhibitor Tools, Tips and Tricks: An Overview of the Total Store Expo Resources” — is available for viewing under the Exhibitor Resources section of the Total Store Expo website.

NACDS said registration isn’t required for these webinars, but those interested should contact Mary Medawar of NACDS to get information on how to access the webinars.
