WESTPORT, Conn. – The New England Consulting Group (NECG) has appointed Steven Davis as a principal and advisor to its Restaurant, Retail and CPG practices. Davis brings over 30 years of strategic marketing, innovation, and consumer brand development driving some of Fortune’s most admired companies and brands.

Davis is the former chairman and chief executive officer of Bob Evans Farms, where he was instrumental in successfully leading the restaurant chain and refrigerated/frozen food producer and distributor through challenging economic times. Prior to that, he held multiple senior leadership roles at Kraft General Foods and YUM! Brands, including senior vice president of Pizza Hut and president of Long John Silver’s and A&W All-American Food Restaurants.

Recently, Davis was appointed to American Eagle Outfitters’ board of directors as an independent director. He also serves on corporate boards of PPG Industries, Albertson Companies and Marathon Petroleum Corporation. In the non-profit sector Davis serves on the international board of the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
