WASHINGTON — PCMA president and CEO JC Scott issued the following statement on the 2020 presidential election:

“The Pharmaceutical Care Management Association, representing America’s pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) congratulates the President-elect and looks forward to working with the new Administration on lowering prescription drug costs for all Americans.

“We appreciate the stated focus of the Administration on lowering health care and prescription drug costs for patients, and we are prepared to work with the Administration and the new Congress to achieve this goal. The sole focus for PBMs is to increase access to affordable drugs while increasing the quality of pharmacy care patients receive.”
