Performance Brands said Tuesday that has partnered with Pharmapacks.com, which it described as the No. 1 Amazon featured pharmacy, to bring Selfie Tan’n Go directly to consumers and with Cardinal Health Inc. to distribute the product line to its more than 3,000 independent pharmacies nationwide.

The Selfie line includes exclusive self-tanning and instant “wash-off” bronzing products, combining salon-proven, sunless tanning ingredients with precise balance of skin nutrients, the company said.

According to Kaufman, large retail chains aren’t an ideal distribution channel for premium salon products such as Selfie Tan’n Go. He explained that, with online retail and independent pharmacies, consumers have a better chance of learning more about the product, while the retailers maintain the customer relationship.
