CHICAGO — The Private Label Manufacturers Association has announced plans to host conferences virtually in 2021, in recognition of the continued disruption caused by the coronavirus pandemic.

A new digital event, “PLMA Live! Presents Private Label Week,” is scheduled for the week of February 1-5.

The event will enable retailers and visitors to search for products and network with exhibitors using live video and a suite of business communication tools, according to PLMA, which adds that participants can also exchange virtual business cards and other company information, including video and social media links.

Participants will also have the opportunity to watch new programming each day that includes video reports on major retailing and product trends, as well as category-specific content, interviews with industry leaders, and presentations by private label experts and other speakers.

PLMA has also issued a “save the date” announcement for its 2021 Annual Meeting and Leadership Conference, which will focus on unlocking value in the supply chain and creating more collaborative private label partnerships now and in the future. That event is now scheduled for March 18. For more information or to register, people can email [email protected]
