Rite Aid offers special rewards to loyal shoppers

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

CAMP HILL, Pa. — In a promotion designed to reward its most loyal customers, Rite Aid Corp. began 2015 with a special offer to its wellness+ members.

For every $50 spent in Rite Aid stores through January 24, the wellness+ members receive lifestyle and entertainment rewards.

Customers who are members of the free wellness+ loyalty program earn credits toward the rewards by purchasing products with red “Buy & Earn” symbols. Once wellness+ members have purchased $50 worth of qualifying products, they will receive a Unique Reward Code on the bottom of the register receipt, Rite Aid says.

Customers can make multiple visits and purchases to reach the reward thresholds of $50, $100, $150, $200 and $250, receiving a new code at each threshold up to a total of five reward codes. The codes may be used individually or added together to redeem for bigger and better rewards.

Among the rewards that shoppers can receive are free rounds of mini golf, exercise classes, beauty treatments, personal training sessions and movie tickets.

“We wanted to offer something special to our most loyal customers — wellness+ members — as we enter the new year, as a way to thank them for their business,” Rite Aid senior vice president of marketing John Learish said.

Over 16,000 products are part of the Buy and Earn promotion, including many over-the-counter medications and skin care, cosmetics and beauty products, including nail polish and fragrances. Also part of the promotion are hair products, household supplies, pet food, vitamins and supplements, and some food and beverage products.
