KEASBEY, N.J.— Party Pieces – the iconic British party supplies company founded by Carole Middleton in 1987 – has launched its beautifully branded partyware collection at Saker ShopRite stores in New Jersey. This marks the brand’s first retail partnership outside of the United Kingdom and is the beginning of larger expansion plans in the United States.

The brand’s best-selling Party Pieces Collection features a variety of themed product ranges for children and adults, which includes plates, napkins, cups, hats, balloons, treat stands, table runners and decorations. Hosts and party planners will find uniquely themed party and tableware, with themes such as A Very English Rose, Shooting Star, and Dino the Explorer, that take into account what makes celebrations memorable and share the spirit of entertaining. The show-stopping partyware delivers a celebratory wow factor for guests which includes reusable and recyclable additions, and now these party items are available for the first time on U.S. shelves at select ShopRite stores in New Jersey.

This next phase of expansion for Party Pieces will make the products available for the first time in retail in the U.S. at 39 Saker ShopRite stores in New Jersey in Monmouth, Ocean, Somerset, Middlesex, Mercer and Somerset counties. It comes only a year after a successful e-commerce launch in the UK, which saw Party Pieces Collection quickly become best-selling ranges for the brand.
“It’s very exciting to see our Party Pieces Collection expanding into the U.S. starting with Saker ShopRites, a leading retailer in New Jersey and family-owned business with a long history of commitment to the customers and communities its stores serve. This is the culmination of great teamwork, and we’re happy to partner with Saker ShopRites for our initial launch,” said Carole Middleton, Founder of Party Pieces, who recently visited Saker ShopRite stores in Aberdeen, Hazlet, Middletown and Shrewsbury as part of the U.S. launch.
“We are thrilled to be the first U.S. retail partner for British heritage brand Party Pieces. We know our customers are coming together again to mark special occasions in their lives and they want to make their parties spectacular. We’re sure our customers will enjoy celebrating memorable moments with these fantastic new lines from Party Pieces,” added Richard Saker, president and CEO of Saker ShopRites, Inc.
“We’re excited about the Party Pieces launch at Saker ShopRites in New Jersey, and are confident the line’s imaginative party decor and themes will resonate with customers. We also think shoppers will appreciate the convenience of being able to purchase Party Pieces’ distinctive items at ShopRite, and plan to introduce the line at other ShopRite locations in the coming months,” said Pat Mooney, Vice President, Health & Beauty Care and Non Foods at Wakefern Food Corp., the retailer-owned cooperative that serves asthe logistics, distribution and merchandising arm for ShopRite stores.
