AMITYVILLE, N.Y. — SheaMoisture has won accolades, including "best of beauty" and similar awards, from a variety high-profile publications during 2013.

The personal care brand, whose offerings include bath and body, hair care, men’s and children’s products made with certified organic and ethically sourced ingredients, said Wednesday that Prevention magazine honored SheaMoisture’s Coconut & Hibiscus Body Butter (suggested retail price $9.99) with its 2013 Beauty Award for Best Body Moisturizer.

Life & Style named SheaMoisture’s Lavender & Wild Orchid Body Scrub as the best in its Oct. 21, 2013 issue, while Ebony magazine brought SheaMoisture three Best of Beauty wins. The brand won Best at Home Hair Color Kit for its Ammonia-Free Hair Color System "The Art of Color" ($14.99), and Best Bump Protector for Him for its Men’s Shave Anti-Aging Moisturizer & Bump Preventer ($8.99). The third award was given in the Best Conditioner for Natural Hair Category for its Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Conditioner ($9.99).

SheaMoisture also received three of Shecky’s Best in Beauty Awards, including awards for the brand’s Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Conditioner ($9.99), African Black Soap Eczema & Psoriasis Therapy Medicated Soap ($4.99) and Coconut & Hibiscus Hand & Body Scrub ($9.99).

Meanwhile, SheaMoisture’s Olive & Green Tea Body Scrub ($9.99) earned a 2013 Total Beauty Editor’s Choice award for Best Body Scrub. It was also designated as a "Rising Star." Readers of SheKnows.com voted for SheaMoisture’s African Black Soap Deep Cleansing Shampoo ($9.99) for the popular website’s 2013 Beauty Awards Women of Color hair care category.

Readers’ Choice Awards from Essence magazine went to SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Curl Enhancing Smoothie ($9.99) and Coconut & Hibiscus Curl & Shine Shampoo ($9.99), while Bella magazine selected Raw Shea Reconstructive Elixir ($9.99) for a 2013 beauty award.
