The quick fit, low-temperature dental guard brings features that distinguish it from traditional boil-and-bite dental guards, making it possible to help more people that suffer from teeth grinding, Splintek said.

Made from a moldable, thermoplastic material, the SleepRight ProRx Custom Dental Guard softens at 140° F, whereas the average custom moldable dental guard uses boiling water at 212° F, according to the company. As a result, the ProRx Custom Dental Guard offers a more comfortable fitting experience using water 72°F cooler than conventional boil-and-bite dental guards, significantly lowering the risk for burns. with this new dental guard.

The SleepRight ProRx Custom Dental Guard lasts four times longer than leading competitors, based on a lab study, Splintek reported. The core of the ProRx Custom Dental Guard builds on the current bite pad technology used in the SleepRight No-Boil Dura-Comfort dental guard, the company said.
