ATLANTA — By popular demand, Sprite has brought back its Sprite Cranberry and Sprite Cranberry Zero flavors as it heads into the holiday season.

The Coca-Cola Co. soft drink brand said Monday that Sprite Cranberry and Sprite Cranberry Zero, launched last year for a limited time, began rolling out late this month and will be available on store shelves through the end of the year.

Offering a refreshing blend of traditional Sprite and a splash of sweet and tart cranberry notes, the limited-edition flavor is returning to bring "a little berry goodness during those special end-of-summer moments and upcoming holiday festivities," according to the company.

"We listened to our fans and their desire to add cranberry flavor to Sprite. That led to the 2013 launch of Sprite Cranberry, our first flavor innovation since 2005," stated Kimberly Paige, associate vice president of Sprite brands at Coca-Cola North America. "Once again, we’re rolling out the popular, crisp, clear, berry-flavored taste in time for those special holiday celebrations."

Sprite Cranberry and Sprite Cranberry Zero come in 12-ounce can fridge packs, 2-liter bottles and 20-ounce bottles (Sprite Cranberry only). The flavor will be sold in supermarkets, mass merchandisers, drug stores and convenience stores nationwide.
