RESTON, Va. — STS Health has gained national retail distribution of its FluNada homeopathic throat and nasal spray following successful trials of the product at CVS/pharmacy and Walgreens.

The company said Wednesday that the move marks a major expansion of FluNada’s presence on store shelves, to nearly 15,000 national and regional retailers since it began distributing the product about a year ago.

"We are very excited about the decisions of Walgreens and CVS to expand distribution and ultimately to increase availability of FluNada to consumers across the country," stated STS Health founder Dr. Steven Schwartz. "FluNada is the only remedy that coats both the throat and nasal pathways, where respiratory viruses enter the body. It plays an important role in the category as an innovative natural alternative to products currently on the market."

The nondrowsy formula, designed to inhibit replication of viruses, contains natural ingredients to relieve runny or blocked nose, sore throat, cough and body aches/pains associated with the cold and flu.

STS noted that FluNada has been laboratory-tested to have greater than 99.9% efficacy against multiple common cold and flu viruses within five minutes. The zinc-free formula contains a blend of safe, natural homeopathic ingredients, including elderberry (with sambucus nigra), menthol, eucalyptus and gaultheria.

Other pharmacy retailers offering FluNada include Duane Reade, Harris Teeter, Winn-Dixie, Bi-Lo, Food City and Kinney Drugs.
