SAN DIEGO — Australia-based Swisse Wellness is re-entering the U.S. market with the launch of its most popular multivitamins and supplements at online retailers.

Swisse Wellness said the products are now available for purchase by U.S. consumers via Amazon, Walgreens.com, iHerb and other leading online stores.

According to the company, its U.S. market return comes following a three-year hiatus focusing on global brand expansion in Europe and Asia.

The brand said it differentiates its premium supplements by making them from natural ingredients sourced worldwide, including globe artichokes from Spain, blood oranges from Sicily and cranberries from Massachusetts.

Swisse’s Ultivite multivitamin line, for example, contains over 50 ingredients — including vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and herbs — and has been independently verified by more than 13 published clinical studies indicating distinguishable improvement in stress and energy levels, the company said. Swisse Ultivites are positioned as a daily foundation for healthy living and are complemented by a range of Ultiboosts engineered to provide targeted health support, Swisse added.

“Our carefully selected premium ingredients and well-researched formulations are key differentiators for Swisse products,” stated Oliver Horn, managing director of Swisse Wellness, whose U.S. office is in San Diego. “We believe in providing dietary and herbal supplements that not only absorb and perform at the highest levels, but also contribute to the overall well-being of U.S. consumers nationwide.”

The full range of Swisse products is formulated to support optimal health and well-being through all stages of life. Swisse multivitamins and supplements now available for purchase in the U.S. include Women’s and Men’s Ultivites plus the following range of Ultiboosts: Liver Detox, Lecithin, Sleep, Calcium + Vitamin D, Grape Seed, Hair Skin Nails Liquid, Hair Skin Nails +, High Strength Cranberry, Chlorophyll Mixed Berry and Chlorophyll Spearmint.

Swisse noted that its U.S. relaunch will help drive its global strategy and bolster the brand’s position in the global market. The company’s products are currently available in eight countries, and it plans to launch in up to 30 countries in the next five years.

Helping to boost Swisse’s presence is international model Ashley Hart, who serves as the Swisse Wellness brand ambassador. Swisse said Hart’s lifestyle involves not just regularly taking multivitamins and supplements but also focusing on positive thinking, nutrition and exercise. “I’m my happiest when I’m living a healthy and active lifestyle,” Hart said in a statement. “It’s important that I have the energy to do what I love. That’s why I take Swisse every day.”
