RHINEBECK, N.Y. — Topical BioMedics Inc. has landed retail distribution for its Topricin Pain Relief and Healing Cream at CVS/pharmacy.

The company said CVS will carry the 4-ounce jar of Topricin Pain Relief and Healing Cream. In CVS stores, the product will be placed in the home diagnostics/diabetes section, located in front of the pharmacy.

CVS also sells Topical BioMedics’ Topricin Foot Therapy Cream in the foot care section and MyPainAway Fibro Cream in the analgesic section.

Topricin Pain Relief and Healing Cream is specially formulated to alleviate joint and muscle aches and pains, including arthritis; carpal tunnel syndrome; lower back, neck and shoulder pain; sports/impact injuries; muscle strains and sprains; sciatica; and repetitive motion injuries such as bursitis and tendonitis, according to Topical BioMedics.

Odorless, greaseless and free of parabens, petroleum, counterirritants and other harsh chemicals, the formula can be used on any part of the body. It features a combination of natural medicines that help the body rebalance healing chemistries, which detoxify the damaged area around the nerve tissue to help restore oxygenated blood flow, the company said, adding that the product has been shown to reduce the need/dependency on all classifications of pain medications, including opioids.

Topical BioMedics’ product lineup includes Topricin Pain Relief and Healing Cream, Topricin Foot Therapy Cream, and Topricin for Children. This company has also launched the MyPainAway line of products, which address specific ailments and pain issues. Two products have already been rolled out to stores: MyPainAway Fibro Cream, in late 2014, and MyPainAway After-Burn Cream, launched in July. Plans call for additional formulas to be introduced later this year and in 2016.
